WA 352P - Carnarvon Basin

Drillsearch 100%
Project Summary
Drillsearch’s holds a 100% working interest in offshore exploration permit WA 352P located in the Carnarvon Basin, the block is updip from the Legendre and Talisman oil fields and is adjacent to the 2006 Amulet oil discovery. The Amulet discovery is approximately 2 kilometres from the western boundary of WA-352P and supports the hypothesis of long distance oil migration from southern oil accumulations such as Legendre and Talisman.
Recent Activity
Drillsearch has reprocessed over 400 line km of 2D seismic. This reprocessing effort has provided Drillsearch with a better understanding of the north-western section of WA-352P near the important structure known as the De Grey nose and has also been used to tie WA-352P to the Amulet discovery and the adjacent Talisman Field.
Drillsearch is planning to acquire 200 km of 2D seismic during Year 3 of the permit, this data will be used to gain a better understanding of the stratigraphic architecture and structural history within the block. Current mapping has identified leads in the Triassic Muderong Formation and the new seismic data will also be used to firm these leads.
